15:05:33 <dan_b> i'm in the process of making a second TorController in firefox-android that talks to geckoview and does all the things there instead of using android-service
15:06:18 <dan_b> it should be setting the bridge enable setting now and today I'll wire in and test the other bridge settings
15:06:58 <dan_b> then it's onto parsing tor events from geckoview instead of tor-android-service to populate all its is[Boostrapped|Connected|etc] fields and manage its TorEvents listeners...

15:08:07 <dan_b> since we are going with the GV/html based bootstrap screen I think some of those won't be required for s96 shipping since they are needed for hte bootstrap screen only but I'll have to confirm that and hten prioritize accordignly

15:20:58 <dan_b> no work on that on my side directly but TorController being made an interface with tor-android-service and geckoview implementations means that we can just swap those and then it should actually do most of the things
