16:59:48 <nickm> hi folks! it would seem that this week's meeting we are without asn, ahf, and catalyst.
16:59:59 <dgoulet> hi
17:00:08 <nickm> dgoulet, isis, komlo: hi
17:00:09 <nickm> !
17:00:10 <dgoulet> no asn nor ahf today
17:00:11 <pastly> I'm here again
17:00:15 <nickm> hi again pastly!
17:01:17 <nickm> https://pad.riseup.net/p/YEqZ8y2RUaV5 is our pad for this week; let's try a few more times before we decide "good way" or "bad way"
17:02:11 <nickm> let's put status reports there, and then ask questions as needed, then do discussion as needed.
17:02:50 <nickm> Sebastian, teor: hi too if you're around!
17:05:08 <nickm> dgoulet: (around?)
17:05:48 <dgoulet> here
17:06:04 * dgoulet writing report offline then copy paste to pad ;)
17:06:08 <nickm> ahhh
17:06:29 <nickm> dgoulet: also do you think you'll have time for the revision on #13802 ?
17:07:02 <dgoulet> nickm: most likely, I've been going over tickets to take ownership in 031 but then this meeting started :)
17:07:11 <nickm> ah, cool
17:07:13 <dgoulet> and then I'll do the work for those tickets
17:07:16 <nickm> don't forget to looks at needs_revision stuff
17:07:17 <pastly> Is it just a renaming of tracing to something less... exciting?
17:07:59 <nickm> I believe that's it, yeah. "event tracing" or "event logging" is about the best we could come up with
17:09:22 <pastly> It can probably be pawned off onto me if dgoulet has better things to do :)
17:10:34 <nickm> ok. I'm out of questions. If anybody else has questions for anybody, let's ask 'em
17:10:43 <nickm> otherwise, any discussion topics for this week?
17:11:05 * pastly quickly tries to formulate question
17:11:47 <pastly> Kist is currently on 0.2.8.10. Would it even be useful to present it to you through the appropriate ticket(s) on 02810?
17:12:13 <nickm> Does the branch merge to master? Does it work when merged to master?
17:12:26 <nickm> Or hm, let me try to answer more usefuly:
17:12:50 <nickm> we can look over patches against 0.2.8.10, but we are not merging any new features to stable versions.
17:13:26 <nickm> also, I hope you saw the #20459 fix!
17:14:23 <pastly> Yes! I've been carrying that fix around manually since my Tor is too old to get the upstream fix naturally. In fact, I lost it when rebasing from 0286 to 02810 and didn't notice for ... way too long.
17:15:11 <pastly> Thanks for the answer. I'll add mergeing into master to my todo list of testing
17:15:32 <nickm> if it's nontrivial, rebasing on master might be smarter. (or on 0.3.0.6-rc or something)
17:15:49 <nickm> how large is the diff?
17:16:16 <pastly> 8 files changed, 712+ 24-
17:16:24 <nickm> could be worse :)
17:16:50 <nickm> ok, any other discussion topics for this week? Otherwise, it's a short meeting
17:17:04 <tokoi> evening
17:17:43 <tokoi> I'm trying to set up a tor2web node that the node itself would serve as RP when accessing hidden services
17:17:57 <tokoi> but for some reason it never does
17:18:15 <tokoi> I do have the node fingerprint in torrc
17:18:15 <nickm> tokoi: hi! give us 5 minutes? we're wrapping up a meeting here right now.
17:18:22 <tokoi> sure, no hurries
17:19:29 <nickm> ok, given no discussion topics, ending the meeting. I'll send the notes out to the list in a while, once I've got permission from ahf and asn
17:19:36 <nickm> I'll be around for more discussion of course
17:19:38 <nickm> thanks everybody!
17:19:40 <dgoulet> thx
