13:32:46 <nickm> I'm here; who else is there? :)
13:32:50 <asn> me is here
13:33:03 <asn> this time. much better. than previous time.
13:33:08 <Yawning> kinda
13:33:10 <asn> :D
13:33:21 <asn> Yawning: you have tomorrow's meeting for you!!!
13:33:21 <isabela> o/
13:33:23 <Sebastian> I'm here for just a minute. I wonder what the #17668 plan is
13:33:45 <nickm> Sebastian: I am currently on the "unfun stuff" path.
13:33:50 <nickm> first code reviews, then bug fixes
13:33:53 <nickm> I will get to that when I can
13:34:07 <nickm> I hope somebody else will get to it sooner though.
13:34:10 * dgoulet here
13:34:12 <nickm> hm, might as well start with status
13:34:23 <Yawning> (can I go next, kitty is cold)
13:34:40 <Sebastian> ok, a sensible strategy. I just wondered if anyone had feedback on my analysis/proposed solution yet. But I guess not :)
13:34:45 <Sebastian> thanks, and happy meeting. /me sleeps
13:34:58 <nickm> "I'm doing code reviews and merges and bug fixes. There are lots of each. I'm prioritizing reviews over fixes, crashes over non-crashes, etc."
13:35:15 <nickm> I'll hit diminishing returns soon on reviews, and then prioritize fixes
13:35:26 <nickm> I'm not yet sure if I write any more new code this month :)
13:35:29 <nickm> but the reviews have to happen
13:35:36 <nickm> Yawning: go ahead!
13:36:07 <nickm> (BTW, everybody should scan through tickets in "needs_revision" and see if something you wrote is waiting there. There are some fine patches I'd love to have fixed up and merged)
13:36:10 <Yawning> Since nickm reviewed my branches, my plans for the rest of the week are to fix those, catch up on paperwork.
13:36:31 * asn can go next
13:36:34 <Yawning> I'm not overly worried about getting the two branches mergable, most of the fixes required were documentation/style things.
13:36:38 <nickm> isabela: btw, yawning wants to go soon, so please poke him about meetings/contracts/whatever you had
13:36:46 <Yawning> (MT circuit build crypto, SHAKE)
13:37:15 <Yawning> past that it's catch up on paperwork, plam my EU move, work on MT cell crypto, PQ forward secrecy, obfs5
13:37:20 <isabela> nickm: tx ( Yawning - I just emailed you a draft, would appreciate if you could review it and if we can get a final thing by EOW)
13:37:32 <Yawning> yeah writing a reply to that.
13:37:35 <isabela> ok
13:37:37 <nickm> great!
13:38:20 <nickm> asn: go for it?
13:38:25 <asn> hello!
13:38:28 <Yawning> nickm: I think AEZv4 does not have the issues presented in the paper (it was the reason for the tweaks)
13:38:33 <asn> this past week i've been doing prop250 development.
13:38:38 <asn> i think we are approaching the needs_review phase
13:38:48 <asn> not there yet. but we hope to get there before the end of the month I think. maybe.
13:38:49 <Yawning> but I'm a bit more nervous about the primitive though still mostly ok with it.
13:38:59 <Yawning> (sorry, done now, gonan write the e-mail and sleep prolly)
13:39:06 <asn> the branch shows surprising degrees of stability in testing. which sounds very nice. but nothing is too nice in this world.
13:39:17 <asn> so there is prop250.
13:39:31 <asn> i've also been working a bit on standarizing the bug bounties for little-t-tor
13:39:34 <asn> it's moving forward.
13:39:42 <isabela> \o/
13:39:42 <asn> i need to write an email wrt that before the end of the day as it seems.
13:39:53 <asn> ehm, i also did a review or two last week.
13:39:56 <asn> my review queue is empty again.
13:40:04 <asn> so give me a ticket or two and i will try to review.
13:40:26 <asn> i also have #17178 in needs_revision that i need to get to. RSOS.
13:40:37 <asn> that's that. thx.
13:43:00 <nickm> ok. who's next. dgoulet ?
13:43:13 <dgoulet> yes
13:44:57 <dgoulet> so relocation was successfull end of last week, got sick in the process but it's gone! prop250 with asn, did some reviews last week but need to do more but I'm failing behind. 32c3 talk also is taking a bit of time now and my OnionPerf experiment with Rob along with instrumentation. I'm HOPING that we put prop250 in need_review by the end of next week top.
13:45:00 <dgoulet> --
13:45:15 <Yawning> (e-mail sent, I'll also try to fix the base64 stuff to be better)
13:45:31 <Yawning> (imma sleep now unless there's things that require my immediate attention)
13:45:41 <nickm> Yawning: woo. I'll try to review your MT and SHAKE stuff fast once it's done, since I have branches on top of it.
13:46:05 <Yawning> nickm: my assesment of what's left for me to do for both is correct right?
13:46:13 <Yawning> (simple fixups for the most part?)
13:46:18 <nickm> Yawning: later we'll be talking about meeting times; every time seems to suck. No need to hang around, but please let me know offline what times are good
13:46:22 <nickm> Yawning: IMO yes
13:46:27 <Yawning> ok
13:46:32 <nickm> (FWICR)
13:48:57 <nickm> dgoulet: sounds neat
13:49:06 <dgoulet> nickm: ah! #17752
13:49:14 <dgoulet> nickm: thanks! I'll try it out because I hit that 10 times a day!
13:49:37 <nickm> great. I want better traces on that one; I have no clue what's up with it.
13:49:53 <nickm> I'm also frusterated by #17659
13:50:03 <dgoulet> ah yeah also been hitting it :)
13:53:03 <nickm> so.... anybody else around here for this meeting this morning?
13:54:13 <nickm> ok, if somebody shows up, please feel free to chime in.
13:54:16 <nickm> it's discussion time!
13:54:23 <nickm> isabela: did you want to kick anything off?
13:54:58 <isabela> I think everyone has an email from me in their inbox with a draft of deliverables for contracts :)
13:55:20 <asn> got something. will look soon!
13:55:23 <isabela> please pay attention to it these days :) my goal is to close this by EOW
13:55:40 <isabela> also ping me if you hav equestions or anything
13:55:46 <isabela> thanks!
13:56:25 <nickm> any questions there?
13:56:30 <nickm> if not, my next topic is meeting times
13:57:07 <nickm> fwict this time works better than wed afternoon for this team, though it's worse for the californians. The Monday-night time is okay for teor, but I don't know who else. How are we feeling about it all?
13:57:54 <dgoulet> personally, this time is great for me (both in .eu and when I'll be back in the north)
13:58:17 <dgoulet> but yeah West coast suffers more :S
13:58:23 <asn> yes this time is really good for me as well. the other time was like 03:00 in my timezone.
13:58:28 <asn> west coast people are also not happy by tomorrow's meeting time?
13:59:24 <nickm> what do you mean by "tomorrow's meeting time"?
13:59:35 <dgoulet> hs patch workshop
13:59:38 <nickm> ahh
13:59:43 <dgoulet> 16h UTC I think
14:00:08 <nickm> ==8am pst
14:00:15 <nickm> I'd imagine that's tricky yeah
14:00:28 <asn> didn't mean hs patch workshop. i thought there was a second little-t-tor meeting htis week.
14:00:35 <nickm> I belive the monday one is actually 0100 UTC on tuesdays.
14:00:57 <nickm> roughly 12 hours from this meeting's time
14:02:17 <dgoulet> yeah that time is problematic because I'm usually afk by that time in eastern time :S ...
14:02:36 <nickm> me too
14:02:39 <dgoulet> but that fits teor and Yawning :S
14:04:27 <dgoulet> we cover almost all timezones on the globe so for sure two meetings are needed...
14:04:52 <dgoulet> then it's a question of reproting back to each other or reading meeting notes of the other
14:05:15 <nickm> hmm. that's a good thing.
14:05:24 <nickm> I wonder if there's anybody besides me who can commit to both times
14:05:54 <isabela> I think I can too
14:06:06 <isabela> but ppl should not worry about me :)
14:06:07 <nickm> I think unless you're in east coast, or somewhere in the atlantic, it's not so realistic.
14:06:42 <dgoulet> considering my eastern location I could commit sometimes
14:06:49 <dgoulet> (but that will be after feb :S)
14:09:15 <nickm> yeah
14:09:30 <nickm> other topics for today? I fear I'm behind on triaging the december list :(
14:10:28 * dgoulet is good
14:10:58 * isabela too
14:11:36 <nickm> ok. thanks, all!
14:11:38 <nickm> #endmeeting
